The Knots Prayer


Dear God:
Please untie the knots
that are in my mind,
my heart and my life.
Remove the have nots,
the can nots and the do nots
that i have in my mind.


Erase the will nots,
may nots,
might nots that may find
a home in my heart.
Release me from the could nots,
Would nots and
Should nots that obstruct my life.


And most of all,
Dear God,
I ask that you remove from my mind,
My heart and my life all of the ‘am nots’
That i have allowed to hold me back
Especially the thought
that i am not good enough

I read the story bellow, loved it and thought of sharing it. Pure demontration of what Love's all about......

An old man goes to see the doctor to dress a wound in his hand where there was a profound incision.

And hurried he asked for urgency in being attended because he had a compromise.

They doctor that attended, curiously asked what so urgent he had to do.

The kind old man said every morning he visited his wife in the home for the aged, and she had Alzheimer in a very advanced status.

The doctor very worried with the delay:

- So today she will be worried with your delay?

And the old man replied:

- No, she doesn’t know who i am anymore. It’s been 5 years that she doesn’t recognize me anymore.

The doctor replies:

- Then why the hurry and necessity of rushing all mornings to be with her if she doesn’t recognize you anymore? The Old man smiled tapping the doctor’s shoulder and answered:

- She doesn’t know who I am. But I know very well who she is!

The doctor had to hold the tears while he thought...

This is the type of LOVE I want in my Life, the Love only Jesus will give.
